Temple Open Limited Days in November

Mandir will be open for darshan on Mondays and Purnima during the month of Kartik. Below is the schedule for November. All Sevas will continue to be broadcast on zoom also. For everyones safety, please follow COVID-19 guidelines and precautions as listed below:

  • Mon, Nov 16 - 5 PM - 8 PM
  • Mon, Nov 23 - 5 PM - 8 PM
  • Sun, Nov 29 - 5 PM - 8 PM (Purnima)
  • Mon, Nov 30 - 5 PM - 8 PM

Sri Saumayakasi Sivalaya continues to remain closed (except during any specially announced days) for public due to COVID-19. During the closure, our priest will perform normal scheduled Sevas in the temple and we will continue to make these Sevas available through Zoom webinar.

We invite you to participate in the Sevas with friends and family. You can sponsor the Sevas online at least 20 mins before the beginning of the scheduled Puja

Priest will not be available for home or outside CMH campus pujas during the temple closure.

Limited number of Private Sevas in the temple can be performed by appointment only.

  1. The following Pujas can be requested - Arcana,Rudrabhisekam,Homam,Satyanarayana Puja,Shraddha Karma, Car Puja, Call priest for other sevas in Temple
  2. In addition to normal charges for the Seva, the following additional charges will be applicable
    • Charges for required samagri, which will be provided by temple
    • $60 towards sanitization after the Seva
  3. No more than 8 people will be allowed in the temple for private Sevas
  4. Devotees should follow the following guidelines when visiting the temple
    • Please refrain from coming if you have any of the following COVID-19 symptoms: fever, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, headache, body aches, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, fatigue
    • Please pay for the sevas online using your smartphone or from home. Priest will perform the Seva
    • Every attendee should wear a mask while in the premises.
    • Seniors age 65 should take all necessary precautions before coming.
    • Always remain 6ft apart from non-family members, and from the priest
    • Priest will remain at the Sannidhi and raise the lamp for the devotees. Do not go close for Arati.
    • Theertham Vibhuthi, Kumkum will not be provided by the priest
    • Please do NOT bring any offerings (flowers, home cooked food, fruits, dry fruits etc.). Instead donate money to temple.
    • Read and adhere to the posted messages and directions
    • Do not move furniture. They have been arranged considering social distancing needs
    • Enter only when allowed.
    • Pradakshanam inside the temple will not be allowed. Only outside pradakshanam in the balcony is allowed.
